Introducing Phoebe, Siren Singapore’s current star! Phoebe has shown an incredible aptitude for design, bringing her own sense of creativity, form and flair to each project she works across.
What’s your spirit animal and why?
I connect more with the crisp salty air, wind in my hair and snowy mountains.
However I have taken a quiz to find my spirit animal – a Tiger; raw feeling an emotions, primal instances, unpredictability, and ability to trust myself.
If you were in the circus what would be your talent?
Costume designer! I love the abstract designs, creating movement and drama, and working with fabric and people.
If you were asked to redesign/refresh a product what would it be?
Revolutionising the chair lift on a ski resort! No more dropped poles, freezing fingers, removing skis or stacks on the dismount.
What’s your ideation preference, digital or hand sketch, why?
Both! I love to work with multiple platforms, let the creativity run wild
Who or what inspired you to be a designer?
Desire to create beautiful functional spaces! After completing my business degree and working in the industry, I realised I had much more creative energy to share.
